2. What data we process and why
Visiting the website
When you access the website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data (for example IP address, date and time, page visited, browser type) in order to provide the website securely and reliably.
Forms
When you contact us via a form – property valuation, call back, buyer list, partner enquiry or contact – we process the details you provide (such as your name, email address, phone number, details of the property or of your search profile, and your message) in order to answer your enquiry, give you an estimate, inform you about suitable properties or prepare a mandate. The legal basis under the GDPR is the performance of pre-contractual measures or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Email and phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide in order to deal with your request.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website does not set any cookies, does not use any analytics or advertising tools and does not embed any content from social networks. Fonts are loaded locally from our server.
4. Recipients and disclosure abroad
The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, USA); form submissions are stored there and forwarded to us by email. Netlify is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the Swiss Federal Council has recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection. We use a professional email provider for email correspondence.
We do not pass your data on to third parties for advertising purposes. We only share data with notaries, banks or other parties involved if you consent or if it is necessary to carry out your mandate.
5. Retention
We keep your data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose in question. Enquiries without further contact are deleted after 24 months at the latest; search profiles on the buyer list are kept until you withdraw your consent. This is subject to statutory retention obligations.
6. Your rights
You may at any time request information about the data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing and request that your data be handed over to you. To do so, please contact us at the address given above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with the competent supervisory authority in the EU.
7. Data security
Data is transmitted in encrypted form (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
8. Changes
